Roy Thibodaux “Brine”

Roy was handed Curtis's slide guitar at the first rehearsal and played it for eleven years. He used a glass bottleneck from the bait shop's recycling bin, cut and sanded by Eugene.

He was the quietest member and the most precise. He played behind the beat on purpose and could make a single note last through a passing boat.

He is described in the file as the one who knew. The other three say they know too. Roy has never said whether he knows, and has never said whether the others do.

In 1990 he moved to Tallahassee and went into insurance. He will not discuss the fingers. He will discuss the slide guitar, briefly.
